V-Grooving

V-Grooving

V-grooving is a method to create grooves on wood, glass and stone which was invented many years ago to replace the more conventional methods of cutting. The conventional methods included the butt joint construction in which certain tapes are used to hold the materials that are being cut. Thus v-grooving can result in furniture and cabinets of different variety with reduced labor costs, time and thus money. This method is widely used in countertops, cabinets and furniture industries. Auto v-grooving is a special type of v-grooving machine in which the dust and the wet particles are minimized. Compact V, Cove and V-Groove Cutters, StarStone Model SCG-120 and SVG 30 are some of the V-grooving techniques available in the market. Compact V is a V-grooving machine which is used for solid surface V-grooving and back splashing and is considered as the best v-grooving method. The fact that the machine components are completely stainless steel and do not require any lubricant and thus the machine has a bigger life span adds another feather to its cap.
